Kasra is one of our co-founders and the director of humanities and languages at Core. He is studying a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney.
Kasra has over four years of tutoring and teaching experience, having taught over 250 students ranging from years 3-12 and specialising in HSC and Preliminary assessment course content. He has developed several course structures, student materials, and teaching guides and resources for both education organisations and private use. He has worked at several companies, schools, and extensively as a private tutor.
Results and Qualifications:
Kasra graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 2023, where he studied Latin Continuers, Classical Greek Continuers, Classical Greek Extension, French Continuers, Modern History, Mathematics Advanced and English Advanced. He achieved an ATAR of 99.80, was an HSC All-round Achiever and came 3rd in NSW for Classical Greek Extension with a score of 50/50. He knows five languages including French, Persian, Latin, Classical Greek and English.
At Sydney Grammar, Kasra was in the 1st debating team in 2023 and won the ISDA championship. He has won the GPS debating competition four times in his respective age group between 2019 and 2022. Kasra has worked as a debating coach at Sydney Grammar since 2024.
At Sydney Law School, Kasra volunteers at the SULS Refugee Language Tutoring Program where he teaches English language skills to refugees who have recently migrated to Australia, and was the winner of the 2024 Corrs Chambers Westgarth First Year Moot. In his spare time, Kasra takes part in running, swimming and cycling, and greatly enjoys cinema.
